About Lough Namona
Lough Namona in Mastergeehy
, Co. Kerry.
Lough Namona is fed by the Owengarriff River which in turn connects to the Cummeragh River. It is approximately 200 acreas but has a good stock of sea trout each season.
Angling Season
Salmon: 17th Jan to 30th Sept.
Sea Trout: 17th Jan to 30h Sept.
Brown Trout: 15th Feb to 30th Sept.
Anglers must have a salmon or sea trout licence to fish the lake. Licences can be purchased from the Waterville Angling Centre (Main Street, Waterville, Tel:+353 66 9474433), online at www.salmonlicences.ie or from any Inland Fisheries Ireland office.
