Lough Muckno Waterski & Waterboarding Club in Castleblayney

Located in Castleblayney approximately 100km from both Dublin and Belfast, Lough Muckno Waterski + Wakeboard Club can boast the most scenic ski site in Ireland and is unrivalled in its close proximity (500m) to the town.
The Club has had a long history of organising and running national and international tournaments as well as attracting world class coaches to develop the talent of local skiers.
Coaching Camps are arranged on an annual basis and provide coaching for both the novice and the expert. Members and non-members are catered for and coaching and equipment is supplied for all ages.

We run annual Coaching Course usually held in mid-Summer.
Fun things to do
Slalom, Wakeboard, Wakeskate, Jump, Trick and Barefoot.
Facilities
The Clubhouse has a Common Room equipped with a TV, PS2, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen. There are ladies and gents changing rooms and an equipment storage room. We also have facilities to record your ski and play it back in the club so you can take it home and have an opportunity to learn and progress.
Our boat is a Ski Nautique Speedboat with a 5.8 Litre V8 petrol engine and we also have a Fly High flight control tower adding that extra lift needed for inverts.
The decking area extends over the lake with picnic benches and built in barbeque.

The season runs from May to October.
