Open April 2010, Glasnevin Museum is a must see Dublin attraction for anyone interested in Irish Heritage & Genealogy. The exhibitions on view seek to show the social, historical, political and artistic development of modern Ireland through the lives of the generations buried in Ireland's Necropolis.

The Museum is open for Group bookings on a daily basis, Monday to Sunday.

Opening Hours
  • Monday-Friday: 10.00am to 5.00pm
  • Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: 11.00am-5.00pm
  • Closed: Christmas Day and St. Stephen's Day
Advance booking is required for all groups over 10 people, particularly for tours as places are limited and cannot otherwise be guaranteed. All groups must be accompanied by one of our trained tour guides for reasons of public liability.
