Download Routes to Garmin Sat-Nav

Select a Route to download to your Garmin sat-nav.  Routes only work with Garmin nüvi 8xx, 7xx and zumo series of sat-navs.

Instructions for saving routes to your Garmin sat-nav.

  • Click the Route
  • Save the ZIP file to your PC and extract the .GPX file.
  • Connect your sat-nav to your PC using a mini USB cable and wait for it to detect your device.
  • 'Explore' your sat-nav and save the .GPX file to the Garmin/GPX folder on your device.
  • Disconnect your sat-nav from your PC and wait for it to start up.
  • On the main screen on the sat-nav, select the 'Tool' option followed by 'My Data'.
  • Select 'Import Route from File'.
  • Select the Route and press 'Import'.  The route is now created on your sat-nav.
  • Go back to the main menu on your sat-nav and select 'Where to?'.
  • Select the 'Routes' option.
  • You can now select the Route for navigation
